Morenica – A Sephardic composition from around 1500 (About 500 years ago!) , is named after a dark haired and dark eyed girl from the Moren tribe. They were invaders from north Africa. The Moren girl nick name is Morenica.
This songs is also called: Shecarchoret – from the Hebrew language, it means the girl with the black hair.
