Lesson 6 – Trick number five: octave jumps

It is a very common mistake to play melodies and improvisation parts in the same area of the
right hand keyboard. One simple trick can change all that, one simple move od choice and awareness
can shift our musicality. It is very refreshing to change octaves, sometimes when we least expect it.
The change of octave can happen after a certain section ends going into the next section, but it can
also happen in a spontaneous way in a middle of a musical sentence. find out how, discover how thing
